The ones with motion sensors have worked best for me 😄
The regular solar lights usually start getting really dim after a few hours, especially if there hasn’t been much sun.
I’ve had one wall light for about 2 years now and it still lasts through the night because it only gets brighter when someone walks past. The really cheap ones from supermarkets didn’t last long at all.
I’ve also noticed:
path lights tend to last longer than powerful floodlights,
bigger solar panel = much better performance,
UK winters are tough on any solar lights anyway 😅
Also makes a huge difference if the panel gets proper sunlight during the day. Even good lights struggle if they’re in shade all the time.
