Yeah I can recommend someone – we used ScreedLondon.UK for our underfloor heating in a house project not long ago.

I was in the same position as you, didn’t want to risk going with the cheapest and then regret it later. These guys were actually really easy to deal with. They came out, had a proper look at everything, and advised us on what would work best rather than just pushing one option.

We ended up going with liquid screed, mainly because it works better with underfloor heating. It flows around the pipes properly and gives a more even finish. The install itself was quick and clean, they pumped it in, levelled everything nicely, and left the place tidy.

So far it’s been spot on. Heating is really even across all rooms, no cold areas, and no cracks or issues with the surface. Also dried pretty much in line with what they said, so it didn’t mess up the rest of the schedule.

Overall, I’d say they’re definitely worth considering if you want it done properly rather than just cheaply.
