Hi,
I’ve actually worked with a few screeding companies in London, and one I’d genuinely recommend is WA Screeding London Screed.
They’re not the cheapest option out there, but that’s kind of the point – they focus on doing the job properly rather than cutting corners. From my experience (and what I’ve seen on other projects), their workmanship is very solid and they take the preparation stage seriously, which makes a huge difference with underfloor heating.
They offer a range of systems including liquid screed, traditional sand/cement, and fast-drying options, and they’ll actually assess your project before recommending what’s best rather than pushing one solution.
For underfloor heating specifically, liquid screed is usually the go-to – it flows around the pipes better, gives a more even finish, and tends to perform really well long-term.
What stood out to me is that they’re quite detail-focused – proper surface prep, correct thickness, controlled curing, all the stuff that avoids cracks or uneven floors later on.
They also work with both residential and larger projects, so they’re used to coordinating with builders and keeping things on schedule.
If you’re after reliability and a good finish (especially with UFH), they’re definitely worth speaking to. Not the cheapest quote you’ll get, but one of the safer bets if you want it done right first time.
